The staff walked in a couple of different times unannounced, especially when I had valuables in the room.

The outlets were poorly placed, none by the beds, made charging devices inconvenient.

excelent location (2 minutes from Rinalty bridge and 5 minutes to San Marko squere, friendly staff, good breakfast (especially tasty oatmeal with milk), clean room and bed linen. We have window view to the channel and in the morning heard like gondol'ers sang, it was romantic :)

it is difficult to find it, especially first time, but if to take like giuding line the statue of Bartolomeo it becomes easier ;)

The owner really went the extra mile, sent video directions to find the place, a lifesaver. We enjoyed breakfast with a nice view over the canal, it was a nice touch.

It wasn't the cheapest option available but still doable.

Staying at caneva was a delight! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to rialto bridge with tons of great restaurants nearby. Our room had an amazing view of the bustling canal. The staff were super friendly, and the communication before our arrival was seamless.

Fairly clean and fancy place. Affable staff throughout. Good value for money and well heated room with exceptionally good view of inner courtyard. In the centre of Venice, central location. Easy walk to Saint Mark's Square. A nice restaurant in the hotel itself.

Wi-fi was reliable, but luggage storage felt unmonitored after checkout.

Great location. Very clean shared bathroom and shower (which are separate facilities...avoids waiting). 5 Euro breakfast is good quick option, but quality not so good. Can eat better in cafe for a little more. Nights were quiet and easy to sleep... Overall good value for quality.

Room opened onto small canal but every morning from Thurs-Sat was garbage collection from 8am to about 11am with big mechanical garbage boat right outside window. Not sure if this occurs all the time, but it was every day we were there. Noise was unbearable but at least it gets you out of the room! Afternoon and evenings were quiet.

The hotel was a bit dificult to find but turned out to be in a very central location 2 minutes from the Rialto and the vaporretto stop.It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good value for 5 Euros .I would recommend it to any one looking for a reasonably priced hotel.The staff were very friendly and all spoke english.
